Singing in JayZ's Voice "Forever Young"

Recent history has it that the longest undisputed lifespan of a human (not people in the bible) was earned by a Japanese- Jiroemon Kimura (1897–2013), who died at age 116 years, 54 days.
The oldest living person in the world is Misao Okawa (also a Japanese) was born on 5th March 1898, and still lives as we speak. Amazing isn't it?

Aside being known for high technology and large population, the Japanese, Chinese, and the general ching hou chuo family are known to live healthier and longer lives, because they treasure their health like wealth.
But for Nigerians the reverse is the case, we concentrate more on wealth than health, we are known for corruption and short cuts: we love the fast track life as much as we love the fast food life, how pathetic!
Most Nigerians get so engrossed in acquiring all the wealth, they probably get too busy to think about eating right and staying healthy, and just when they think they have acquired enough wealth, ka boom! they fall sick and end up using all their wealth to treat deadly diseases (Penny wise, pound foolish).

The real essence of eating healthy is to keep your body healthy and suitable for your soul to live in, the moment your body becomes too weak due to lack of good food and care, the soul takes off because the body is no more condusive for it to stay (death).

In Jay Z's song "Forever Young", he didn't really give us details on how to live forever young, maybe that's his little secret he wanted us to discover for ourselves.
Anyway, curious as I am, I really wanna live forever young, (at least 90 ain't a bad number) so I did some research on the topic.

Here are a few tips to help stay fit/ healthy and forever young.


*Drink water first thing in the morning to cleanse the stomach and prepare it for whatever comes next.

*Drink water 20mins before eating and another 20 mins after eating, NO EATING AND DRINKING AT THE SAME TIME.

*Eat breakfast each morning, it's the most important meal and activates you for the day.

*Stay off chilled water, they clot your body fat and slows down blood flow. (imagine groundnut oil in raining season)

*Don't starve yourself claiming to loose weight, rather eat little but frequent meals.

* Eat balanced meals: Avoid carbs after 5pm (unused carbs will likely be stored as fat overnight)

* Instead of the traditional 3 meals a day, eat only when you are actually hungry, and avoid eating anything 3 hours before sleeping.

*Avoid eating/drinking any caffeine past 4:30pm.

*Avoid too much sugar, chocolate, cake, ice cream, or any junk food, (these are BRT lanes to hell)

* Eat more fish than meat, but if you must eat meat, eat lean meat, avoid red meat, eat chicken and turkey without the skin.

*Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables they make the skin fresh and glowing.

*During a meal don't feel shy to crush a bone, your body needs the calcium.

*Drink plenty of water, and cut down on beverages with sugar: a glass of coke contains 8-10 teaspoons of sugar.
Drink at least 3litres of water a day (2 big Ragolis bottle or 6 sachet water)

* Schedule to exercise; 20mins exercise everyday in a year adds 3years to your life span.
* Exercise immediately after waking up, on an empty stomach.

* Wait atleast 20 minutes after exercise before eating.

* Use every opportunity to exercise, take the staircase instead of the elevator.

* Stay fit and keep your weight in check.

*Sleep at least 7-8 hours a night to boost your body metabolism.

* No drinking and driving

* No sleeping on bicycle

* No lying and keeping secrets: we use a lot of energy trying to hide a secret which increases tension and blood pressure.

*Detoxify your body every 6months (accumulated body toxins cause various diseases)

* Once in a while take a break and go on a vacation, its a good easy reset.

* Stay in love, Smile and be happy.

And finally the best guarantee to an immortal life is to give your life to Jesus Christ so if you die now or afterwards you'll still live forever and ever.
